The New York City Department of Social Services (DSS) Agency Chief Contracting Office (ACCO) – Office of Contracts would like to initiate a solicitation for Information Technology (IT) Consulting Services. The solicitation is for one hundred and sixty one (161) positions, payable by hourly rate, to complete various IT projects as described in this solicitation for DSS.
It is anticipated that one or more contracts awarded from this solicitation may vary based on the period of performance(s) such as start dates that will vary upon award up to a maximum of thirty-six (36) months. DSS has the right and option to renew for up to an additional two (2) year term for the contracts. DSS reserves the right, prior to contract award, to determine the length of the initial contract term and each option to renew, if any.
This RFS is issued under the authority granted to state and local government entities by Section 211 of the eGovernment Act of 2002 and is being issued to selected Information Technology Professional Services and Cooperative Purchasing providers holding U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Contracts for Information Technology – IT Solutions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.4. This solicitation seeks proposals from qualified MAS Contractors pursuant to the U.S. GSA contract for IT Consultant Services. The intent of the City is to award these contracts to providers, invited to submit proposals for this solicitation, under the GSA MAS 54151S contract list.
Selected vendors from this solicitation must be enrolled in PASSPort in order to proceed to final award and registration.
A Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled to answer all questions by prospective bidders pertaining to this solicitation. Attendance is optional but recommended by DSS.
